The Team
Trayan Velev
Producer in Bulgaria
Trayan Velev live and grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria. He chose to pursue film career, by graduating from Bernamouth University in Poole, England. Shortly afterwards he returned to Sofia starting his own business, working on projects with clients entirely from abroad for nearly 10 years. There he met the future team of the “factory”, which in 2021 unites under the name Balkan Film Factory.
Petar Sapic
Producer in Serbia
Petar Šapic was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in 2014. from Film and television Production . He is a freelancer working on many movies, television projects and commercials as a line producer and production manager. As a producer there are many commercials , short films and two feature films behind him.
Gergely Varga
Producer in Hungary
Gergely is founder and managing director of Shooteasy Production Services, he founded this company in 2010 after finishing up a successful television producer and journalist career. With an extended international and national network Gergely founded Shooteasy to provide fixer & productions services for broadcast television crews. Some years later Shooteasy became important local contact for mainly US or UK based production companies for their tv shows. In some years Gergely became co-producer of feature films, like Melanie Martinez’s K-12 and Guntur Soeharjanto’s Belok Kanan Barcelona. He also worked on music videos as a producer. Gergely produced and line produced his first Hungarian feature film Szeretlek, mint állat! (Love You Like an Animal), which had a premier in 2019. Gergely has a degree in political sciences (University of Miskolc, 1998) and creative producing (Budapest Film Academy, 2021).
Hermann Meingast
Producer in Romania
Originally from Austria, Hermann Meingast has more than 18 years working in the TV Production field and over 10 years overseas. He has significant experience in TVC, Digital, Branded Content and Film, giving him the opportunity to collaborate with internationally renowned agencies, directors and DOPs. Through his work he has developed advanced commercial skills, techniques and tools in the area of project management, business development and directing.
Mutlu Yildirim
Producer in Turkey
Mutlu was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. Studied Visual Media in American University and Film/TV in University of California, Los Angeles. She is a producer/line producer with 17 years of experience in films, commercials, TV shows, documentaries, music videos, social media and 2d/3d animation videos for global clients such as Google, Vodafone, Volkswagen, Nestle, Henkel, Pernod Ricard, Mercedes, Hisense, Vileda, Y&R, Turkish Airlines, Haribo, Bosch and Achs along with many more local brands. She has line produced TV shows and documentaries for TV channels and social media platforms such as BBC2, Channel 4, Channel 5, RTL, Galileo, TV2 Denmark, 24 Horas, Kuwaiti TV, Nippon TV and Netflix.
